These taro cakes from Taiwan are so good. One of my friends dad came back from Taiwan with these and it makes me want to go to Taiwan everyday for some. I wonder if you can get them anywhere in California? :(
When I have the money and audacity to buy an expensive blush, I will purchase Chanel’s Poudre Tissee in Brompton Road. It’s a highlighting powder and blush, for $80. Huge jaw drop. But that’s Chanel for you.
I had a gift card to Macy’s but I don’t shop at Macy’s so I decided to use it on MAC. I bought 2 blushes in Sunbasque & Peachykeen, 2 lipsticks in Lady Bug & Lustering, and a cremesheen glass in Double Dare. I think I’m going to return or exchange Peachykeen & Lustering for something else. The color doesn’t suit my skin tone at all.
I love this dress. I don’t care how much it costs, I want it!
A new Essie nail polish to add to my collection. This one is Buy Me A Cameo, a frosted satin mocha, as described on Essie’s website. On my skin tone, it’s very light, pinky-beige, with shimmers. Since the color is quite sheer, you do have to apply two coats or maybe even three depending on how opaque you want the color.

Today is Babe and I two and a half year anniversary. We couldn’t celebrate it because Viet/Chinese New Years is coming up and my mom’s business is especially busy around this time of year. We settled for helping out & eating Little Ceaser’s 3 meat pizza because when Valentine’s Day come, we’re going to make it up then. :)
I should be sleeping right now, but obviously I’m not. I don’t know if it’s the coffee or my sleep cycle has been messed up for the past month. On top of that, my stomach has been upset all evening and I feel cold all over. I have work at 9am, helping out my parents and tutoring at 2pm until 7pm. tomorrow. Sigh.
How beautiful is this cake. I want the exact same cake for my wedding :)
